United Christian College (Kowloon East) is a DSS and an EMI school. UCCKE is dedicated to providing quality holistic Christian education. To align with the School's mission, we recruit qualified and dedicated Christian teachers. With concerted efforts led by Dr. David C.S. To, who has over 20 years of experience as a Christian school principal, the School is committed to helping each student develop his fullest potential and become a person with faith, character, knowledge, culture and dream.

In UCCKE, teaching from biblical perspective, cultivating Christian values and character in students, and developing students’ academic excellence to glorify God are the priorities of the School. These are reflected through our core values, i.e. God as the centre, integrity, academic excellence and caring community. In particular, the School has established the United Christian Community Church (UCCC) as part of the school to further take care of the spiritual needs of the students and parents, as well as the wider community. This style of integration of the school and church is quite unique in Hong Kong context.

UCCKE provides a different sky of learning with a broad and challenging curriculum. Students here are growing up happily as well-rounded individuals with better resources and in smaller classes. Our English curriculum is a mix of local and American syllabuses; we also offer Japanese and French. Moreover, we integrate social service in our curriculum to reach out to the community. Students are exposed to all kinds of life-wide learning activities such as overseas study tours and camps. In the past few years, the School has entertained professors, principals, teachers and students from all over the world.

UCCKE is a school filled with love. Our teachers demonstrate God’s love to students. Parents are grateful for the support and partnership they have been experiencing at UCCKE. Together with the school church, we provide Parents’ Institute for imparting wisdom in parenting. The whole school community (students, parents and teachers) show their love to the School through their involvement in a broad spectrum of school activities.

UCCKE is young, vibrant, ambitious and growing. To further improve our quality of education and to provide students a comprehensive learning environment with modern facilities, we sincerely invite you, all parents and friends, to support our $45 million construction project, the Dormitory and Facility Extension Block. This seven-storey extension block includes a dormitory, chapel, lecture theatre, canteen, swimming pool, gym room and activity rooms. It is anticipated that the project will be completed by late 2008.

The addition of the swimming pool and the gym room can certainly enhance our sports training. Dormitory life helps nurture students’ holistic development, with lodging provided to all S.1 students and exchange students from overseas. Hence our students’ global horizon and cultural encounter will be greatly enhanced.

As we are preparing to offer senior form students the IB Diploma Program option in 2010, the added activity rooms and the lecture theatre are of great essence for this expansion. Not only can the new chapel provide a more suitable place for the Form Chapel and other activities during the school days, it will also be a sanctuary place for our school church, UCCC, on Sundays. It is hoped that the school community and the wider community can benefit spiritually with the establishment of this new chapel.

All in all, the new building project will make the School more competitive and bring abundant blessings to the whole school community.

滙基書院創立於1974年，致力為學生提供最優質的基督教全人教育，深受家長歡迎。有見及此，辦學團體於2003年開辦了直資學校滙基書院（東九龍）。新校由一群有理想、有教學熱誠的基督徒老師組成，並在擁有二十多年校長經驗的杜枝生博士領導之下，致力為學生提供「不一樣的學習天空」。短短幾年，本校已經建立了良好的聲譽，家長口碑載道，報讀人數逐年上升。

追求卓越 致力培育社會英才

本校持守校訓「明道尚主、勤學立德」的宗旨，協助學生全面發揮天賦的潛質，讓他們確定目標和方向，建立積極的人生觀。本校著重鼓勵學生追求學業、德行、靈性的卓越，栽培出有信仰、有道德、有知識、有理想、有文化，對社會有承擔的人，榮耀上帝之名。

為了配合未來學制的轉變，使學生有更多元的選擇，本校遂展開四千五百萬元的籌募計劃，在籃球場範圍增建一座七層高的學生宿舍及綜合大樓，預計新大樓最快將於2008年底落成。

完備設施 配合全方位發展

新大樓設有學生宿舍、演講室、小聖堂、特別活動室、飯堂、游泳池及健身室，新翼建成後，校舍設備將會更臻完善。演講室可以舉辦小型音樂會和話劇表演，令學生發揮演藝方面的潛質；新增的體育設施讓學生在運動上一展所長。學生宿舍是全人教育的理想培訓場地，除了在假期舉辦各類營會，還可讓中一學生輪流入住，體驗獨立自主及群體生活。滙基堂的事工亦因著興建小聖堂而得到進一步發展。

國際視野 文化交流 凝聚社群

本校是一所具有國際視野的學校，除了一直開辦的日文、法文課程，學校更將於2010年增設「國際文憑課程」(International Baccalaureate Diploma Program)，為高中生提供多元選擇。

本校的初中英語課程糅合美國及本港的課程設計，有助學生日後往海外升學。本校亦鼓勵學生參與海外交流團及各種體驗團，更聘有專人策劃學生參與社會服務，以增廣見聞。本校亦與海內外教育工作者有多方面的交流和協作。宿舍建成後，本校更可以接待歐美、亞洲以及內地交流生入住，既可與本地學生促進文化交流，亦能擴濶本校學生的國際視野。

堂校一體 拓展生命教育工程

具果效的品德教育，必須從家庭教育開始。為了推行優質基督教全人教育，所有老師皆必須修讀有關課程，以生命影響生命。本校還創立了基督教滙基堂，關顧及支援學生及其家人的屬靈生命。堂校合辦的「家長學堂」，協助家長認識教養之道，令學校的教導更為有效和整全。未信者得以聽聞福音，初信者得到牧者栽培，堅信者亦可得著造就，成為基督的精兵。本校校長及部份老師同時是滙基堂的堂委，滙基堂的傳道人亦兼任本校聖經科老師，令學生有一份歸屬感。隨著基督教滙基堂事工的不斷發展和人數的迅速增長，教會因而需要更完善的場地拓展事工。小聖堂的興建，可以在同一天空下凝聚學生和家長，令堂校合一的異象更有效地落實。
